Prototypes, Miniatures, Discontinued Components, Restoration Projects, Damaged Parts, Models, Maquettes, etc...

Benefits

Customization

The parts are designed based on a technical drawing provided by the customer or a sample of the damaged part that is intended to be replicated, with 3D printing being a versatile and innovative tool in several areas, from Industry to Medicine and Design.

Iterative Design

Customers can collaborate in the design process, offering feedback and adjusting products during production, resulting in products that are more in line with their expectations.

Waste Reduction

3D printing technology generates less waste compared to traditional manufacturing methods as it only uses the material needed for the part.

Geometric Complexity

3D printing allows the manufacturing of parts with complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible to achieve by other means, which is valuable in industries such as aerospace and medical.

Delivery Time Reduction

3D printing allows you to produce and deliver products faster, reducing delivery times compared to traditional manufacturing methods and allowing you to design and test product prototypes quickly and economically, accelerating the development process.

Biodegradable Material

The main filament used in 3D printing is PLA called polylactic acid, which is made from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane, making it a more environmentally friendly option. However, ABS, PETG, TPU, PAHT-CF (nylon with carbon fiber), PLA metal, etc. can also be used...

Nuno Soutinho has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Aveiro and already has extensive professional experience, from testing LAN networks at Siemens, technician at F.Fonseca SA, to the position of Control Engineer at General Eletric during the commissioning of Natural Gas Turbines for the production of Electricity throughout Europe.

He currently holds the position of Product Manager at F.Fonseca SA for 12 years, lately more focused on the IoT area, a term also known as the Internet of Things.

Being a natural Entrepreneur, he has always been passionate about new technologies and decided to explore and investigate the Additive Manufacturing Process, better known as 3D Printing, through FDM technology.
